History Later names GIBBAR, MONTSERRAT II, in 1920 became SERIEUX of Scotto, Ambrosino Pugliese Fils & Co. of Oran (French flag) and converted to a cargo ship. From 1933 to owned by Soc.Algerienne de Sauvetage (Entreprise Zagame & Cie.) of Oran and classed as a salvage vessel.
Fate Scuttled at the entrance to Oran prior to the Allied landings there on 8 November 1942.
