Sold in 1915 to Dale Coasters (Lythgoe, Amundsen) of Sunderland and in 1918 to Lythgoe & Co. Sold in 1919 and renamed ZEALOUS, Wm. D. Arthur of Sunderland but registered at Newcastle. Sold in 1922 to G.McDonald and in 1927 to Wm. R. Aiken and in 1938 to J. R. Gill, all of Aberdeen.
Fate Sank on 14 July 1944 after colliding with American steamer FRANCIS VIGO about 8 miles north of the Bell Rock while on a voyage from Sunderland to Aberdeen with coal.
